Difference of opinion is beauty of civilized society and democratic nations. Difference always promote critical thinking and encourage argument but it should be based on logic and reason . Scientific based differences also promote sustainable and positive development of human thinking and social change .
I have long discussion with students and teachers in Islamabad at many places regarding social attitude and social environment in our country . Most of them disagree with each others point of view . Terrorism and energy is most influencing issues of every people from all classes .
Few Days ago i received request from lady , living in US and running a radio to join her radio show online. . She promote Islam and its teachings but neglect the molivis interpretation ( Although she herself become modern form of molvin) . She do not discuss but dominate and impose her own version of Islam. I was surprise to know her thoughts . She is not ready to even allow any one to disagree with her . She always block people who disagree with her . She called her modern muslim woman . Wao modernity .
One of Phd student in QAU believes that last elections ( may 2013) was engineered and heavely planned to keep ANP out of power and bring new brand of Taliban ( He call imran khan a taliban new leader) . He argues that ANP did her best during last five years . They open many new schools and colleges . They faced terrorism personally . Local leadership was attacked every day . Even they could not campaign for general elections . I disagree with his political thoughts but respect his views and reasons .
One of my teacher told about university that current administration (VC) is opening new department but ignore old one . Quality of education is suffering . We need to promote quality but not quantity . He thinks that opening new department will affect the quality and its step towards commercialization of education . He was saying that religious people are encouraged to join key position in universities because of some reasons and long plan to radicalize students at this stage .
